
Sharon was a family therapist before retiring in 2006, and–like her novel, Across a Narrow Strait–her short stories deal largely with the messy business of love, family, and relationships. Oh, and watch for a bird or two.

“The Neighbour,” was shortlisted for the 2020 Federation of BC Writers BC/Yukon Short Fiction Contest, then took second place in the Muskoka Authors Association’s 2020 Melody Richardson Memorial Contest.
